Zombie Air Force Air Strikes Strategy: Timing and Team Coverage
Choose a strike moment around the squad target, preserve horde coverage and redirect the attack plan when frontline priorities change.
Use an air strike in Zombie Air Force when it fits an agreed response to the battle, not just because a large enemy has appeared. A useful editorial strategy is to decide whether the squad needs help with ordinary horde pressure or a shared target, then preserve coverage for the other job.
This gameplay introduction gives context for the attack choices in that timing decision.
Commit when the target and coverage are clear
An air strike call is easier to use when it names both the target and what everyone else should keep doing. If the squad agrees to focus the Behemoth, another player can stay on ordinary zombies. If horde pressure is the immediate problem, say that before the group redirects all its effort toward the giant enemy.
The timing rule is coordination, not a specific second on a wave timer. You do not need to invent a spawn schedule to choose a more deliberate moment for the attack.
Avoid spending every player's attention at once
| Situation | Useful decision | Keep covered |
|---|---|---|
| The horde is the immediate frontline problem | Coordinate the strike around that pressure. | Another player's aircraft or defense responsibility. |
| The squad is ready to focus a Behemoth | Make a shared target call before committing. | Ordinary zombies around the line. |
| Several attacks already address the same target | Ask whether another pressure needs support. | The objective left outside the existing attack plan. |
A strike is part of the plan rather than a reason for every player to stop their current task. If teammates have already committed elsewhere, make the next call around what remains unattended. This gives your contribution a distinct purpose without assuming a damage advantage, a recharge time or a limited charge count.
Make a different call when the situation changes
Do not let the first target choice dictate the whole encounter. If ordinary zombies become more urgent, redirect part of the squad and explain that change. If the line is covered and the team can focus together, say who joins the shared target and who stays on support.
After a difficult battle, identify whether the call came too late, the target was unclear or nobody kept the horde covered. Those are useful coordination fixes before another purchase. For the action sequence itself, read the air strike guide. The chain gun guide offers a starting coverage role for the player who stays with ordinary zombie pressure.
